Description
As part of DXC Technology’s Early Careers Programme, I drove operational and strategic improvements through data analysis and reporting. Key achievements include automating reports to double operational efficiency, delivering data-driven insights to public sector stakeholders (e.g., NHS, DVSA, Defence), establishing a technical foundation for ERP and continuous improvement, and enhancing decision-making through Power BI dashboards.
As a key contributor to operational excellence and strategic decision-making, I delivered impactful data-driven solutions across public sector technology services. My responsibilities and accomplishments included: Operational Efficiency & Reporting Automation: Spearheaded the development and automation of comprehensive reports covering Inventory Management, Stock Levels, Repair Progress, Shipping/Logistics, and Device Destruction. These reports streamlined workflows and enabled accurate, timely decision-making across procurement, repair, and lifecycle operations—resulting in a 100% improvement in operational efficiency within these core processes. Public Sector Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborated closely with stakeholders from major government organisations including the NHS, DVSA, Ministry of Defence, Department of Justice, DEFRA, and SEPA. Delivered tailored, data-rich reporting to support the Device as a Service (DaaS) model, driving transparency, accountability, and strategic alignment across departments. Strategic & Technical Direction for Change Initiatives: Authored a business case and established the technical roadmap underpinning future ERP implementation and Lean Process adoption. This initiative aligned with the organisation’s long-term goals and provided a structured foundation for continuous improvement and operational scalability. Advanced Data Visualisation & Insight Delivery: Designed and implemented interactive dashboards using Power BI, transforming complex data sets into intuitive visual insights. These dashboards empowered leadership with real-time visibility into key metrics, improving resource allocation, performance tracking, and operational oversight.
