SharePoint Intranet Rollout for Group-Wide Collaboration
Led the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of a modern SharePoint intranet across the Denholm Group. This project aimed to improve internal communication, drive engagement, and consolidate legacy systems into a cohesive digital workspace.
Dynamics 365 Upgrade
Dynamics 365 system, initially implemented to manage work orders from BAE Systems, had failed to meet Denholm’s business requirements. After the project ran £30,000 over budget, you were brought in to assess and rectify the system. You collaborated with Denholm's stakeholders and BAE customers, gathering a backlog of 90+ requirements and user stories to guide the upgrade. You applied Agile methodologies to partition requirements into manageable sprints, overseeing each sprint from planning through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to deployment. By managing the backlog, environment permissions, and all stakeholder communication, you ensured the system was finally functional and tailored to Denholm’s needs.
Data Migration from UCL to JJD
Managed the Data migration from one organisation to another. Ensuring the migration strategy and processes were adhered to across internal and external stakeholders. Creating the solution design using ETL by evaluating data from UCL (Source) reviewing data in SharePoint, Teams and applications. Converting the data by removing unnecessary data through reporting and discussions with UCL stakeholders for the identification of data to be Kept, Deleted or Archived. Complying with data governance and internal policies. Removing duplicates and correcting data errors. Loading the data into JJD (Target) ensuring data is written to the relevant SharePoint and OneDrives.
IT Procurement Power App – Workflow Automation & Stakeholder-Driven Design
Lead Developer and Business Analyst I designed and implemented a custom IT Procurement app using Microsoft Power Apps. The project automated procurement workflows, from request to approval, and was built collaboratively with business stakeholders to ensure functional alignment, seamless integration, and user adoption.
ERP Solutions Evaluation & Implementation for Financial and Operational Transformation
As Technical Lead and Project Manager, I led the evaluation and selection of an enterprise ERP platform at J.&J. Denholm Group. After comparing Dynamics 365, SAP, Sage, and Salesforce, I drove the implementation of Dynamics 365 across Finance, HR, and Operations. The solution included integrated workflows, data migration, and real-time reporting through Power BI dashboards.
Data Migration from JGL to DGL – Post-Merger Digital Integration
As Lead Migration and Data Analyst, I directed the full-scale data migration during the merger of John Goods Logistics and Denholm Goods Logistics. The project involved migrating over 7.4TB of data—including SharePoint Sites, Teams Channels, and Microsoft Planner tasks—ensuring business continuity, compliance, and a smooth digital transition.
